At the start of the story, an unknown sea creature has entered the body of a woman and is found by a man, who invites her to his home. He knows she isn’t quite human, from the way she eats and acts. But in an act of possessiveness, he keeps her in his house. As for the creature, it gradually tires of wearing the body, which starts to rot. And their relationship, what starts out as curiosity on both sides, begins to change into obsession, arguments and, in the end, the desire to end it all.
